A stay of any length at the Lodge, a hundred years old monument, is sure to revitalize and restore all your senses. The sensation begins with the stunning view from the village of Magouliana itself. This authentic Arcadian settlement is perched 1,365 meters above sea level, as the highest most village in Peloponnese, beneath the ruins of the medieval Argyrokastro castle,
The area is redolent with history particularly from the period of the Greek Revolution. Nearby villages are home to renowned tavernas where every meal is an unforgettable culinary journey. There are also beautiful small churches and myriad other historical and natural attractions to explore and discover.
Your very own mountainside fortress is a completely renovated and reimagined historic structure with three luxurious guest suites, original stonework and extensive wood elements, all highlighted with intelligently-designed industrial-chic accents.
The common “lobby” area is a high-ceilinged great room with a gleaming open kitchen, chandelier-lit dining area ideal for our leisurely gourmet breakfasts, and separate lounge area. There is also a rear-facing terrace that affords sweeping village, mountain and valley views.
